'Zastrugi' is an exploration of vessels, how the wind and sun pushes snow and water into fleeting supportive forms. Now frozen in time 'Zastrugi' only changes shape through shadows as the light moves through the day. Orders will ship in approximately 4 weeks.

This vessel is made from White Ash (Fraxinus americana) salvaged from an urban forest in decline. It measures aprox. 1067 x 406 x 76 mm, (42 x 16 x 3”). The pieces are finished with a quality food grade finish, Kunos Natural Sealer (www.livos.ca). Future renditions of this piece's form will respond through slight shifts in dimension and form to the character of the wood that is available.
