Storyboard Furniture, in collaboration with ideacious, is on a mission to salvage the wood of a historic dying apple orchard. There are 400 trees slated for destruction at the Ferri family’s Big'r Apple Farm in Huttonville, a region that is quickly being swallowed up by suburbs. We are collectively raising funds by selling products made from the salvaged trees. The idea is to use as many of these trees as possible to make hand sculpted spoons, fruit bowls, platters, and even furniture, but we need your help. Your preorder and purchase will help give this orchard a new life in the form of these beautifully designed and hand crafted items. The story of these trees that was once rich with blossoms and fruit could become a part of your life and story. Designers participating include: Joshua Brassé, Karen King, Mike Sharpe, Dennis Hale, Andreas Merker, Brian Volz, Steven Henderson and Scott Barber.
