The form of the Rolling Stone is inspired by rugged boulders like those found on the Moon. Its unique construction creates a pseudo mass transparency allowing it to be semipermeable to air, light and shadows.

This coffee table is constructed out of 18 mm thick layers of sustainably harvested beech. These layers are connected using 10mm diameter stainless steel pipes. Niches are cut out from the overall form to store personal items such as magazines, cell-phones, and books or to act as a foot rest. A sleek glass top 6mm thick allows you to see into the undulating form of the wooden panels.
